Job Description / Responsibility

- Practicing preventative law, providing legal advice and assistance to management and internal departments.
- Represent and defend cases before the court on behalf of company.
- Take initiative & legal action according to the management decision.
- Drafting various Agreements, Undertakings, Board resolutions, Memorandum of Association, notices, replies to notices & regulatory letters and MoUs.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Civil, Criminal matters, Banking, Company matters and Corporate litigations.
- Handle case analysis, legal research and dispute resolution.
- Manage and support litigation and arbitrary matters.
- Advise on company law, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance.
- Appearing in litigation and tribunal hearings on behalf of the company.
- Deal with all kinds of hearing of the court with regard to company business.
- Extensive experience in handling financial litigation before the Lower Courts and the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
- Provide risk assessment in strategic decision making on legal issues.
- Liaise with external lawyers, courts and regulatory authorities.
- Proven experience in Civil and Criminal litigation and dispute resolution.
- Perform any other work as assigned by the top management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law
- Master of Law (LLM) in Law
- Barrister at Law is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile, Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Cement

- Age 25 to 40 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial law, Corporate Compliance, Regulation affairs, Legal notice and litigations Handling, Agreement Notification, Legal research and Risk Assessment.
- The candidate should have Membership (Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association).
- Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management and clients.
- Analytical, methodical and pro-active approach to problem solving.
