Job Description / Responsibility

Act as the primary legal advisor to Senior Management and provide opinions on strategic, commercial, and operational matters.
Draft, review, negotiate, and vet contracts and agreements, following local law and Management Advice.
Independently handle civil, criminal, labor, Artha Rin and commercial litigation involving the company.
Based on MGT advice ensure and arrange to Represent the company strongly before Labour Courts, Labour Appellate Tribunal, Judge Courts and the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
Prepare pleadings, legal notices, replies, affidavits, and case strategies.
Coordinate and supervise external counsels where specialized representation is required.
Ensure compliance in work with the Companies Act, Articles of Association, and internal governance policies.
When required Support Board and Committee meetings, including agenda preparation, resolutions, minutes, and statutory filings.
Manage licenses, registrations, renewals, and inspections relevant to manufacturing units, warehouses and Liaison office.
Deal with corporate compliance, Commercial, RJSC matters, and regulatory filings.
Provide legal advice on company operations and governance
Any other legal works assigned by the Management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Law (LLB)
Master of Law (LLM)
Must be an enrolled advocate of the Bangladesh Bar Council.
Must be a practicing lawyer with relevant professional experience in litigation and court proceedings.

Experience Requirements

7 to 14 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile
