Senior Network Engineer & NOC Team Lead

Job Description / Responsibility

Lead, supervise and manage the NOC engineering team.
Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Juniper, Cisco and MikroTik routers and switches.
Manage ISP Core Network, Distribution Network and FTTH infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, VLAN, Routing Policies, NAT and Network Redundancy.
Configure, manage and troubleshoot OLT, ONU and GPON networks.
Monitor and maintain IIG, NTTN, Upstream and Peering Connectivity.
Identify and resolve critical network outages, packet loss, latency and performance issues.
Coordinate with upstream providers, field engineers and technical support teams.
Maintain network documentation, configuration backups and incident reports.
Ensure network stability, security, uptime and performance.
Train and guide junior network engineers.

Educational Requirements

Diploma
Bachelor/Honors
Masters
JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA, CCNP, MTCNA, MTCRE or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

5 to 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): ISP

Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on expertise is required in:
Juniper (Junos OS)
Cisco (IOS / IOS XE)
MikroTik (RouterOS)
OLT Configuration & Management
BGP, OSPF and Advanced IP Routing
VLAN, Switching, NAT and Firewall
GPON, ONU and FTTH Network Management
ISP Core Network Design & Troubleshooting
Network Monitoring Tools (Zabbix, LibreNMS, The Dude or equivalent)
