Job Description / Responsibility

- Manage bulk coal import operations, including shipping, port handling, stevedoring, and lighter vessel logistics.
- Liaise with banks for LC opening, document endorsement, LOI, and duty payments.
- Coordinate with Customs, Port Authority, and the Ministry of Energy for VAT waiver certificate.
- Handle customs assessment under Section 76, duty calculation, and low-value assessments where applicable.
- Supervise shipping agents, C&F agents, and surveyors to ensure accurate documentation and smooth operations.
- Verify and approve all bills (Shipping, C&F, stevedoring, lighter vessel, survey, ship chartering).
- Ensure compliance with international shipping rules and bulk cargo handling regulations.
- Monitor vessel schedules, discharge progress, and prepare regular operational and financial reports.
-Track vessel arrival schedules, discharge rates, and overall cargo movement.
-Address operational bottlenecks to avoid delays, demurrage, or excess costs.
