Job Description / Responsibility
- Position Overview
- We are seeking a professional, proactive and results-oriented Student Counselor for our Chattogram office. This is a client-facing position combining student counselling and recruitment with responsibility for front desk operations, lead follow-ups and marketing support.
- Job Responsibilities
- Welcome walk-in students, guardians and visitors; manage the reception area and provide professional front desk service.
- Handle calls, emails, WhatsApp messages and social media inquiries; schedule counselling appointments and RCIC consultations.
- Counsel prospective students on Canadian study options, suitable institutions and courses, admission criteria, tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, financial readiness and general study permit requirements.
- Assess students’ academic backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable study pathways; support admission application preparation, documentation and progress tracking, referring immigration-specific advice or assessments to the RCIC.
- Follow up with prospective students and guardians, maintain relationships and convert qualified inquiries into student enrollments against agreed targets.
- Promote OK Immigration’s education services, respond to digital and referral leads, and support Facebook/Instagram content, Meta Ads campaigns, education fairs, seminars and university information events.
- Maintain accurate visitor, student, appointment and lead records; update the CRM/database and report on inquiries, follow-ups and conversion results.
- Coordinate with admissions staff and management, protect student information and support routine reception, counselling, recruitment and administrative activities.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Immigration and Education Consultancy Service, Immigration/Visa Processing
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 22 years
- Only Male
- Mandatory Requirements
- At least one year of practical experience in Canadian study permit counselling is mandatory.
- Sound knowledge of Canadian education pathways, admission procedures, general study permit requirements, supporting documentation and application processes.
- Experience in an immigration or overseas education consultancy, or a student recruitment organization.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Bangla, professional telephone etiquette, strong client service skills and proficiency in MS Office and digital communication.
- Additional Qualifications — Higher Recruitment Priority
- Student counselling experience for the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and/or Malaysia; experience across multiple destinations is an advantage.
- Experience with student recruitment, lead conversion, CRM systems, Meta Ads, social media management or promotional content.
