Job Description / Responsibility
- Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Strategic Management
- • On placing the orders with factories , need to work on the T & A with factories .
- • Need to have the capabilities to get the work done form Merchadisers to have all the raw mateirlas in hous eat right time.
- • Need to have the knowledge on Micro level planning tieh the manufactorers and execute the same.
- Manufacturing, Technical & Quality Control
- • Establish and monitor KPIs, evaluate factory management performance, and analyze daily production and quality data to resolve production bottlenecks
- • Oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) across quality, technical, and production functions.
- • Implement product redesign, and consultant automation (including single-piece movement) to increase engineering effectiveness and planned standard hour efficiency.
- • Conduct pre-production sample reviews, risk analysis meetings, and issue technical Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) when necessary.
- Supply Chain & On-Time Delivery
- • Ensure incoming raw materials meet customer quality specifications and achieve a 100% on-time Planned Cut Date (PCD) target.
- • Drive pre-production Time & Action (T&A) planning and capacity management to ensure high-quality, on-time product deliveries.
- • Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align supply chain performance with production targets
- Customer & Stakeholder Relations
- • Manage buyer standards across major product categories (including Knits, Oxford Shirts, Woven Bottoms/Tops, Denim, Jackets, Blazers, Workwear, and Outerwear).
- • Support Brand team in introducing new competitive factores
- Leadership & Development
- • Lead, mentor, trainee employee and organize workshops and seminars for Merchandising production and quality personnel
- Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science from reputed institution .
- Experience: 20+ years of progressive manufacturing and have potential to manage the wovenand knit manufacturers .
- Should posses the knowledge of the SMV calculations , Micro level planning , T & A management and hand on experience on the Quality department.
- Product Expertise: Proven experience managing diverse product categories, including Knits, Woven Shirts/Tops/Bottoms, Denims/Non-denims/Chinos, Jackets, Blazers, and Outerwear. Alongwith Proven background catering to major international retailers and brands
- Skills required: Capacity Management & Forecasting, Budgeting, Cost Control & P&L Analysis, Pre-Production T&A Planning & Risk Analysis, GSD & Work Study Implementation, Quality Assurance, Technical SOPs & CAPs, High-Level Customer & Stakeholder Negotiation
