Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Source Of Agro is an agriculture-focused company committed to modernizing agriculture in Bangladesh through agricultural machinery, equipment, agricultural products, and innovative solutions. We are looking for a highly experienced, strategic, and result-oriented Executive Director to lead overall business operations, ensure effective coordination among all departments, and drive organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the overall operations of all departments, including Factory, Showroom, Farm & Agriculture, HR & Administration, Accounts & Finance, and Brand & Marketing.
- Translate the company`s strategic objectives into operational plans, departmental targets, and measurable performance outcomes.
- Supervise Department Heads and ensure accountability, productivity, discipline, and effective teamwork across the organization.
- Monitor production, sales, inventory, purchasing, delivery, customer service, and after-sales service activities.
- Review departmental performance, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Monitor operational budgets, expenses, resource utilization, and cost-control initiatives in coordination with the Accounts & Finance Department.
- Ensure effective implementation of company policies, administrative procedures, workplace discipline, and safety standards.
- Develop performance monitoring systems, operational procedures, and reporting mechanisms to strengthen management control.
- Prepare and submit regular operational and management reports to the Managing Director, highlighting performance, challenges, risks, and recommendations.
- Support business expansion, organizational development, process improvement, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Implement management decisions and perform other duties assigned by the Managing Director within the delegated authority.
Educational Requirements

- Masters in Engineering (MEngg)

- Candidates with substantial leadership and operational management experience may be considered based on their professional qualifications and achievements.
Experience Requirements
- 12 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Logistics Startup, Agro based Startup, Marine Industry
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 40 to 55 years
- Only Male
- 12–15 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in senior management, business operations, administration, or organizational leadership.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or managerial position.
- Special Preference:
- Retired Commissioned Officers of the Bangladesh Army are highly preferred.
- Candidates must demonstrate high levels of honesty, integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
- Proven experience in administration, logistics, personnel management, and operational supervision will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain discipline, accountability, and organizational standards are essential.
