Job Description / Responsibility
- Supervise field-level crop production activities and ensure compliance with company-approved agronomic practices.
- Monitor crop growth, plant health, pest and disease conditions, irrigation, and harvest readiness.
- Prepare acreage plans, sowing schedules, crop calendars, yield estimates, and production forecasts.
- Manage farmer selection, registration, contract farming documentation, and ongoing farmer relationships.
- Supervise Senior Field Supervisors, Field Supervisors, and assigned field teams to achieve operational targets.
- Identify field-level risks and coordinate timely corrective actions with Agronomy & Quality and R&D teams.
- Coordinate harvesting schedules, raw material collection, transportation, and timely delivery to the factory.
- Monitor field-level product quality and implement measures to minimize rejection and post-harvest losses.
- Coordinate agricultural input distribution and monitor proper utilization by farmers.
- Support field trials, demonstration plots, and agronomic improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate field reports, production data, farmer records, and traceability documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contract farming procedures, food safety requirements, and ethical standards.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Food Science & Technology
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 3 years

Additional Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of crop production, agronomic practices, and field-level crop monitoring.
- Experience in contract farming, farmer relationship management, and acreage planning.
- Ability to estimate crop yields, prepare production forecasts, and coordinate harvesting.
- Knowledge of pest and disease identification, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and safe agrochemical use.
- Strong team supervision, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and mobile-based field reporting tools.Strong reporting, documentation, data validation, and traceability management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain effective relationships with farmers and local stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently across assigned agricultural and rural field areas.
- Ability to work in a field-based environment and respond to seasonal operational requirements, including urgent harvesting and raw material supply needs.
- Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and commitment to operational excellence.
