Job Description / Responsibility

Educational Requirements

Diploma/B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Garments Technology, Fashion Technology, or relevant discipline.
Candidates with strong practical experience in denim cutting may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

8 to 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements

Age 32 to 38 years
8–12 years of relevant experience in Garments Cutting.
Minimum 5–7 years in Cutting Floor In-Charge / equivalent position.
Experience in a 100% Denim Garments Factory is highly preferred.
Strong practical experience in denim fabric spreading, cutting, shade/lot control, and cutting production management.
Strong knowledge of Denim Cutting Operations.
Good understanding of CAD, Marker Making, Pattern, and Marker Efficiency.
Knowledge of fabric relaxation, spreading, shrinkage, and fabric utilization.
Strong knowledge of shade/lot segregation and numbering/bundling systems.
Knowledge of cutting machines and equipment.
Understanding of fabric consumption and cutting wastage control.
Ability to read and understand Tech Pack, Pattern, Marker, Measurement Chart, and Cutting Plan.
Knowledge of common cutting defects and corrective actions.
Good knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.
Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing, and speaking).
