General Manager - Accounts & Finance

Job Description / Responsibility

Manage the overall Accounts & Finance function to ensure effective financial planning, reporting, and control.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Oversee cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury operations to maintain healthy liquidity.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, VAT, tax laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate external audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections, ensuring timely resolution of audit observations.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, government authorities, auditors, and other key stakeholders on financial and regulatory matters.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, profitability, costs, and key financial indicators and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Ensure effective financial governance, internal controls, and accountability across business units.
Support senior management in strategic decision-making through timely and accurate financial insights.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
FCA qualified candidates will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

At least 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies

Additional Job Requirements

Experienced in similar role, preferably in a large manufacturing/RMG organization or diversified business group.
Proven experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, taxation, VAT, audit, compliance, and internal controls.
Experienced in leading and developing a large Accounts & Finance team.
Strong exposure to ERP-based financial management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
