Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary
Lead the Accounts & Finance function for a laminated tube manufacturing plant, covering product costing, budgeting, cash flow, inventory/WIP accounting, import trade finance for raw materials and machinery, and statutory compliance, while strengthening internal controls across production and finance.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Cost Accounting
Develop and maintain a costing system for laminated tube production (raw material — laminate film, aluminum foil, resin/plastic granules, ink/printing cylinders — labor, and factory overhead)
Compute product-wise/order-wise (job costing) cost per tube by size, layer structure, and printing specification
Conduct variance analysis (material usage/price, labor, overhead) by production batch and report deviations to management
Track machine/line-wise production cost and efficiency (extrusion, printing, tube-forming/capping)
Analyze cost of goods manufactured/sold and recommend cost-optimization measures
Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS
Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and periodic MIS reports for management/partners
Track budget vs. actual performance and highlight risks and opportunities
Develop dashboards for sales, margin, and profitability analysis by product line
Cash Flow & Working Capital
Manage cash flow planning, fund positioning, and working capital cycles
Liaise with banks on facilities (LC, OD, term loans) and monitor covenant compliance
Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory financing costs
Inventory & WIP Accounting
Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and WIP tracking across warehouse/assembly
Implement controls to minimize shrinkage, obsolescence, and costing errors.

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Management (MBM) in Accounting
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
Chartered Accountant Course Completed Preferred

Experience Requirements

7 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Packaging Industry, Plastic/ Polymer Industry
