Job Description / Responsibility

Role Overview
We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end development and bulk order process for our Marks & Spencer (M&S) account. The role requires hands-on experience navigating M&S's systems (PLM, BOM, CAD) and working directly with M&S Sourcing Office (SO) teams, so candidates with prior direct M&S account experience are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Download and manage Development Tech Packs from M&S's PLM system.
Handle development sample booking, sample fabric booking, and follow-up to ensure timely receipt and turnaround.
Prepare and upload BOM and other required documents into the M&S system.
Collect and review CAD consumption data to support development and costing.
Coordinate bulk buying activities, including tracking, wearer trials, and e-commerce sample bookings.
Maintain daily email communication with the M&S Sourcing Office and factory teams to address development and production needs.
Prepare and submit Lab Dip and Strike Off approvals for both development and bulk stages, in line with M&S requirements.
Track approval status (Tech Pack, Lab Dip, Strike Off, Fit, BOM) and follow up to prevent delays.
Liaise between the factory, buying office, and M&S SO to resolve development and production issues.
Maintain accurate records of samples, approvals, and communications for audit and reference.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years

Age At least 26 years
Only Male
Experience: Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience working on the M&S account is mandatory, including exposure to M&S PLM, BOM systems, and communication protocols with M&S Sourcing Offices.
