Java Backend Developer

Job Description / Responsibility

Develop scalable backend applications using Java & Spring Boot.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
Build and maintain Microservices-based applications.
Design efficient and scalable database schemas and architectures.
Develop optimized SQL queries and manage database relationships.
Implement asynchronous and event-driven communication using Kafka / RabbitMQ.
Use Redis for caching and high-performance data access.
Containerize and manage applications using Docker.
Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and secure API practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services.
Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

Experience Requirements

3 to 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Engineering Firms, Software Company, Business-to-Business (B2B) Software and Services Startup

Additional Job Requirements

Age 25 to 40 years
Strong hands-on experience with Java & Spring Boot.
Good understanding of REST API development and Microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of Database Design, SQL, normalization, indexing, and relationships.
Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL or similar relational databases.Hands-on experience with Redis, Apache Kafka, and RabbitMQ — Required.
Good understanding of message queues, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous processing.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Good communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
