Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking for a skilled React Native Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in React Native, React, Expo, and TypeScript to develop and maintain our health-focused mobile application for iOS and Android.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance, production-ready mobile applications, integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, implementing modern UI/UX designs, managing application state, and handling mobile application builds and deployments using the Expo/EAS ecosystem.
The candidate will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable and user-friendly mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Application Development — React Native, React & Expo
Develop, maintain, and enhance production-ready mobile applications using React Native, React, and Expo for both iOS and Android platforms.
Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and reusable mobile components.
Develop scalable component architectures and reusable UI patterns following modern React and React Native best practices.
Build and maintain reusable components, custom hooks, utilities, and shared services.
Work with React Hooks, Context API, Redux, Zustand, and other modern React patterns.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, handling authentication, authorization, API errors, loading states, and asynchronous operations.
Work closely with backend developers to understand API contracts, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure seamless data flow between mobile applications and backend services.
Implement efficient API communication, data caching, local storage, and offline functionality where required.
Implement authentication and secure user sessions.
Utilize Expo modules and device capabilities such as:
Push Notifications
Camera and Media
Secure Storage
Device Permissions
Deep Linking
App Updates
Payments
Integrate Firebase and other third-party SDKs when required.
Manage application builds and deployments using EAS Build, EAS Submit, and EAS Update.
Prepare and maintain applications for Apple App Store and Google Play Store releases.
Troubleshoot and resolve mobile-specific issues across different devices and OS versions.
Optimize application performance, startup time, rendering, memory usage, API calls, and network requests.
Debug and resolve production issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
Maintain clean separation between UI, business logic, and data-access layers.
Code Quality & Engineering Practices
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript/JavaScript code.
Follow modern React and React Native development best practices.
Develop reusable components and maintain a consistent application architecture.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
Identify technical issues and proactively propose effective solutions.
Refactor existing code when necessary to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability.
Follow Git-based development workflows and established coding standards.
Write and maintain appropriate unit and integration tests where required.
Collaboration & Product Development
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement accurate and consistent designs.
Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and resolve technical issues.
Collaborate with QA engineers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
Work with product and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and other development activities.
Take ownership of assigned features from development through testing and production release.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years

Required Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in React Native development.
Strong hands-on experience with React Native and Expo.
Strong knowledge of React and modern React development patterns.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
Experience developing applications for both Android and iOS.
Experience with Expo EAS Build, EAS Submit, and EAS Update.
Strong understanding of React Hooks and component architecture.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Good understanding of authentication, API handling, asynchronous operations, and error handling.
Good understanding of mobile application performance optimization.
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
Strong understanding of responsive UI development and mobile UX principles.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Experience with Angular.
Experience with Firebase.
Experience with payment gateway integration.
Experience with push notifications and deep linking.
Experience with local storage, caching, and offline functionality.
Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Apple App Store and Google Play Store submission processes.
Experience with healthcare, e-commerce, fintech, or other API-intensive applications.
Familiarity with native Android/iOS concepts and debugging native issues.
Experience working with analytics, crash reporting, and application monitoring tools.
