Job Description / Responsibility

100 % Export Oriented foreign owned Garments (Woven) Factory/Multiple Businesses.
Job Location: Mirpur-14, Dhaka. Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day employee welfare activities and maintain a healthy and harmonious work environment.
Counsel female workers and address their grievances, health concerns, and workplace issues promptly and confidentially.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, ILO conventions, and buyer code of conduct regarding worker welfare and safety.
Monitor factory facilities such as the dining area, day-care center, washrooms, and drinking water stations to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Coordinate regular health check-ups, awareness sessions (e.g., reproductive health, personal hygiene, nutrition), and first-aid training.
Support the management in implementing maternity benefits, leave management, and other welfare schemes.
Maintain proper documentation, registers, and reports related to worker welfare and counseling sessions.
Act as a bridge between the workers and top management to foster strong employee relations.

Educational Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare, Sociology, Psychology, HRM, or any relevant discipline from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years

Additional Job Requirements

Age 25 to 35 years
Only Female
Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as a Welfare Officer or in a similar compliance/HR role within an RMG/Garment factory.
Must experience in garments factory.
Strong interpersonal, counseling, and conflict-resolution skills.
Good understanding of Bangladesh Labor Act and factory compliance standards.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and fluent communication skills in Bengali and English.
