Job Description / Responsibility
- About the Role
- We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Deputy Genral Manager– Monitoring & Internal Control to strengthen our monitoring, risk management, compliance, and internal control systems across the Textile/Manufacturing operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying operational and financial risks, evaluating internal controls, monitoring business processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing management with actionable recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing business risk.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen effective Internal Control Systems across factory and corporate operations.
- Conduct regular monitoring and review of production, inventory, procurement, commercial, finance, HR, payroll, and supply-chain processes.
- Identify operational, financial, compliance, and process-related risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic internal control reviews, process audits, stock/inventory verification, and surprise checks.
- Review and monitor production-related activities including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, wastage, production efficiency, and reconciliation.
- Monitor procurement, store, purchase, subcontracting, and vendor-related transactions to ensure proper controls and authorization.
- Review adherence to approved SOPs, policies, delegation of authority, and management guidelines.
- Investigate control weaknesses, irregularities, discrepancies, and suspected process violations and submit reports to management.
- Prepare periodic MIS/Monitoring Reports, exception reports, risk reports, and management dashboards.
- Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Production, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Compliance, and other departments.
- Develop and maintain appropriate risk registers and control matrices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adequate segregation of duties and appropriate authorization controls throughout the organization.
- Lead and mentor the Monitoring & Internal Control team.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Top Management.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a relevant discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA (CC), ACCA, CMA, MBA, or relevant Internal Audit/Risk Management certification will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Buying House, Dyeing Factory, Garments, Spinning, Textile, Washing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 50 years
- Only Male
- At least 5 years in a managerial/senior management role in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Monitoring, Risk Management, or a related functionin in Textile (Spinning, Weaving, Dyeing, Printing Etc.) manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of textile/manufacturing operations and business processes.
- Practical knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control, costing, procurement, production monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical, investigation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify control gaps and translate findings into practical business solutions.
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and team-management capabilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professional ethics, and independence.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP and reporting/MIS tools.
