Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented AGM – Industrial Engineering (IE) to support the Head of IE in leading and strengthening Industrial Engineering functions across multiple business operations.
- The position will serve as the second-in-command of the IE function and will be responsible for driving productivity, efficiency, capacity planning, manpower optimization, line balancing, performance improvement, and IE systems across RMG, Textile, Washing, Embroidery, and Garments Printing operations.
- The incumbent will work closely with business and factory leadership to establish standardized IE practices, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable business growth.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the second layer to the Head of IE and support the overall IE strategy and execution.
- Lead and monitor IE activities across RMG, Textile, Washing, Embroidery, and Garments Printing operations.
- Develop and implement productivity improvement initiatives across factories and production processes.
- Drive line balancing, capacity planning, manpower planning, SMV/SAM, efficiency, target setting, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost optimization.
- Establish and standardize IE systems, tools, methodologies, and performance measurement practices.
- Review and improve machine utilization, manpower utilization, production flow, bottleneck management, and process efficiency.
- Develop capacity and production plans in coordination with Production, Planning, Merchandising, and Operations teams.
- Monitor factory-wise IE KPIs and provide management with regular performance analysis and improvement plans.
- Lead benchmarking and best-practice implementation across different manufacturing processes.
- Support new product/style introduction through SMV development, capacity analysis, method study, and production feasibility.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity and reduce production losses.
- Develop and mentor IE teams across different business units and ensure strong succession planning.
- Ensure effective implementation of IE policies, procedures, systems, and reporting standards.
- Prepare management reports, productivity dashboards, capacity reports, and other IE-related analysis as required.
- Work closely with the Head of IE and senior management on strategic productivity and operational improvement projects.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) from a reputed university.
- Candidates with a strong academic and professional background in Industrial & Production Engineering will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 11 years
