Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Information Technology to lead and manage the organization’s overall IT operations, infrastructure, ERP systems, cyber security, digital transformation, and technology strategy. Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, servers, networks, data centers, and communication systems.. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services aligned with business objectives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization’s overall IT strategy, policies, procedures, and technology road map.
- Lead and manage the IT team, including infrastructure, network, ERP, software, hardware, and technical support.
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, servers, networks, data centers, and communication systems.
- Oversee ERP implementation, customization, integration, maintenance, and user support.
- Ensure effective management of IT systems across HR, Finance, Commercial, Merchandising, Planning, Production, Inventory, Supply Chain, and other departments.
- Establish and maintain robust IT security, data protection, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
- Identify and mitigate cyber security risks, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives and introduce technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate software, hardware, cloud services, and technology solutions.
- Manage IT projects, budgets, vendors, service providers, and technology procurement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IT policies, data security standards, and organizational requirements.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical IT issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare regular IT performance reports, budgets, project updates, and management presentations.
- Coordinate with senior management and business functions to identify technology requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation, asset management, licensing, and inventory of IT resources.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in IT, cyber security, ERP, cloud, or project management will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Garments Accessories
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 35 years
- Only Male
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role.
- Strong experience in ERP, IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, database, system administration, and digital transformation.
- Experience in managing IT teams and large-scale IT projects.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, ERP, and enterprise applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, data security, and business continuity.
- Experience in the garments/textile industry will be highly preferred.
