Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and execute annual preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance plans for all mechanical machine, equipment in the cement production line.
- Ensure maximum availability and reliability of critical machinery—including kilns, raw mills, cement mills, and crushers—to meet production targets.
- Lead, train, and supervise the mechanical maintenance team (engineers, supervisors, and technicians) across shifts at the plant.
- Prepare and manage the departmental maintenance budget, control spare parts inventory, and optimize costs without compromising equipment reliability.
- Oversee rapid diagnosis and rectification of mechanical breakdowns to minimize production downtime and maintain seamless cement plant operations.
- Assist timely procurement of critical spare parts and coordinate with suppliers/contractors for quality service and cost-effective outsourcing.
- Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety, environmental regulations, and industry standards across all mechanical maintenance activities.
- Implement condition-monitoring techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to prevent unexpected equipment failures.
- Conduct failure investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring mechanical issues.
- Report maintenance KPIs, downtime %) to top management and coordinate closely with production, procurement, and quality departments for smooth plant operations.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Discipline from any reputed public university
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Cement Industry, Cement, Engineering Firms, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 45 to 50 years
- Only Male
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive senior management experience within the Cement,Tiles, Steel/Rod or related Construction Materials Industry and others .
- Deep understanding of cement manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, corporate governance, and driving large-scale change initiatives.
- Leadership Quality and experience of work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and convincing personality.
