Job Description / Responsibility
- A leading and growing business group is looking for an experienced and dynamic business leader to lead its Trims & Accessories business and drive overall business growth, operational excellence, profitability, and strategic development.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall business operations with full responsibility for business growth, revenue, profitability, and operational performance.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
- Drive sales, business development, customer relationship management, and market expansion.
- Lead commercial, sourcing, production, supply chain, quality, finance coordination, and overall operational activities.
- Develop strong relationships with local and international buyers, brands, buying houses, and key business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities, products, markets, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure efficient production planning, capacity utilization, cost control, quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor business KPIs, budgets, P&L, cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing management team and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish strong systems, processes, controls, and performance management practices across the business.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Present business performance, challenges, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to the senior management/Board.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Textile, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a relevant discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments Accessories
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 45 years
- 15+ years of relevant experience in the manufacturing, trims & accessories, garment accessories, textile, or related industry.
- Proven experience in a senior business leadership / COO / Business Head / General Manager / Director-level role.
- Strong track record in business development, sales, operations, profitability, and P&L management.
- Experience working with international buyers, brands, buying houses, and export-oriented businesses will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Bangladesh RMG/textile and accessories industry.
