Senior Executive / Asst. Manager-Sales Analytics/MIS

Job Description / Responsibility
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and MIS reports, providing comprehensive insights into overall business and sales performance.
- Track and report key sales metrics through Sales Performance Report, highlighting performance against targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, variances, growth opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on Product-wise, Category-wise, , dealer-wise, zone-wise, division-wise, and district-wise sales performance.
- Manage the Sales Team and oversee the tracking system to ensure timely and accurate recording of sales activities.
- Compare sales targets with actual achievements and provide analytical insights to support improved sales performance.
- Conduct analytical activities to evaluate ongoing campaigns, market response, and promotional effectiveness.
- Assist the Marketing Team by providing analytical insights and reports for ongoing campaigns and market initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Finance & Accounts Department by sharing updated information on cash discounts, GR/NR status, sales realization, and relevant sales data.
- Prepare business development reports and provide recommendations to management for operational and strategic improvements.
- Develop and monitor sales dashboards, performance reports, and analytical tools to support management decision-making.
- Gather critical information from various stakeholders and convert it into structured reports and presentations.
- Prepare summary reports, analytical briefs, and insights for the Managing Director and senior leadership.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills to support data-driven business decisions.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 9 to 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG)
Additional Job Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of sales operations, key performance indicators, performance measurement frameworks, and sales monitoring mechanisms.
- CSE/MIS educational background is highly preferred for this position.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, including Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI (DAX), Charts, Data Analysis Tools, and Dashboard development.
- Good working experience with reputable ERP systems.
