Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context: Flyer Travel Express Ltd. is looking for an experienced, smart, responsible, and customer-focused Travel Consultant to handle travel arrangements, ticketing, tour packages, hotel reservations, and client communications. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the travel industry and be capable of handling clients professionally while providing accurate and efficient travel solutions.
- Job Responsibilities
- Handle clients regarding domestic and international travel requirements.
- Provide consultation on air tickets, hotel bookings, tour packages, and other travel-related services.
- Prepare and provide suitable travel itineraries according to clients' requirements and budgets.
- Handle air ticket reservations, re-issuance, cancellation, refund, and related procedures.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and overseas travel partners.
- Prepare quotations and travel packages for individual and corporate clients.
- Follow up with clients and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding booking status, schedule changes, and other travel updates.
- Handle corporate and individual travel arrangements professionally.
- Maintain proper records of bookings, payments, client information, and travel documents.
- Assist clients with travel-related information, requirements, and procedures.
- Coordinate with the visa and ticketing teams when necessary.
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients and develop new client opportunities.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve client queries efficiently.
- Perform other travel-related and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Minimum Bachelor`s Degree in any discipline will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant professional training in travel and tourism will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, Travel Agency, GSA, Tour Operator, Immigration/Visa Processing, Transport Service
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 24 to 35 years
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in a travel agency, tour operator, airline, or related travel industry.
- Candidates with strong experience in international air ticketing, tour packages, hotel reservations, and client handling will be given preference.
- Additional Requirements
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla.
- Good knowledge of international travel destinations and travel-related services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and Internet browsing.
- Knowledge of airline reservation/ticketing systems will be an advantage.
- Strong client-handling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prepare quotations and travel itineraries accurately.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
