Job Description / Responsibility
- Context:
- We are looking for three highly experienced and result-oriented Senior Education Counsellors –Finland with genuine, hands-on professional experience in Finnish university admissions, student recruitment and residence permit processing. This is a senior-level appointment. Candidates without practical Finland counselling experience are requested not to apply.
- Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and guardians by phone and in person regarding higher education opportunities in Finland.
- Assess academic qualifications, English proficiency, financial capacity and career goals, then recommend suitable Finnish universities, Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS), programmes and scholarship opportunities.
- Independently manage end-to-end Finland applications through Studyinfo.fi and institution-specific application portals.
- Review academic documents and advise students regarding eligibility, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and application conditions.
- Guide students in preparing SOPs, motivation letters, CVs, work-experience evidence and other required application materials.
- Prepare students for entrance examinations, video assignments, interviews and admission-related assessments.
- Support students with tuition fee payment, insurance, Enter Finland residence permit applications, VFS identification appointments and embassy preparation.
- Communicate professionally with Finnish universities and UASs and follow up on applications, offers and admission-related matters.
- Monitor application, tuition, residence permit, enrolment and arrival deadlines and maintain accurate records of every application stage.
- Follow up with prospective students, achieve assigned recruitment and enrolment targets, and provide accurate pre-departure guidance on accommodation, living costs, arrival procedures and student life in Finland.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor`s/Honours degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- A Master`s degree, recognized foreign qualification or previous study experience in Finland will be considered an added advantage.
- Graduates from all recognized universities may apply, provided they meet the required professional experience.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Immigration and Education Consultancy Service
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience; 3–5+ years is preferred.
- Genuine, practical and verifiable Finland counselling experience is mandatory.
- Proven, hands-on experience specifically in Finland student counselling and student recruitment is mandatory.
- Practical experience with Finnish university/UAS applications, Studyinfo.fi, admission procedures and offer processing is required.
- Strong practical knowledge of Enter Finland student residence permit documentation, insurance requirements, VFS procedures and embassy preparation is required.
- Previous employment with an established education consultancy, international student recruitment organization or recognized study-abroad company is required.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate and verify their previous Finland-related counselling and application experience during the recruitment process.

- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bangla.
- Strong understanding of the Finnish higher education system and admission process.
- Ability to independently handle multiple student files and deadlines.
- Strong follow-up, student conversion and sales skills.
- Professional, responsible, target-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
