Job Description / Responsibility

Prepare and maintain high-quality cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, cookies, and bakery products.
Create innovative and attractive pastry, bakery, and dessert concepts.
Develop new recipes, seasonal products, buffet items, and special-occasion cakes.
Ensure excellent taste, texture, consistency, decoration, and presentation.
Plan daily production according to restaurant, banquet, event, and hotel requirements.
Maintain standardized recipes, portion control, food quality, and production standards.
Control food cost, wastage, inventory, and raw-material consumption.
Prepare daily requisitions and coordinate with Store and Purchase departments.
Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, food safety, storage, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
Manage pastry and bakery equipment and report maintenance requirements.
Train and develop junior pastry/bakery team members.
Assist the Executive Chef/Head Chef with menu development, costing, special events, and promotions.

Educational Requirements

Higher Secondary

Experience Requirements

5 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Coffee Shop, Hotel, Resort, Restaurant
