Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the Restaurant Group and ensuring proper legal compliance across business operations.
- Job Responsibilities
- Handle and supervise all legal matters of the Restaurant Group.
- Represent the company in civil, criminal, commercial, labour, cheque dishonour, contractual and other legal matters.
- Prepare, review and provide legal opinions on agreements, contracts, deeds, notices, legal documents and other related matters.
- Handle legal matters relating to restaurant branches, tenancy, partnership, investment, employment, disputes and business contracts.
- Coordinate with courts, government authorities, regulatory bodies and external legal professionals whenever required.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to Management on business and operational matters.
- Monitor ongoing legal cases and ensure proper follow-up, documentation and compliance.
- Ensure the company`s legal interests are protected and minimize legal risks arising from business operations.
- Identify potential legal risks and advise Management on appropriate preventive measures.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of legal cases, agreements and other legal matters.
Educational Requirements
- LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
- Must be a Bangladesh Bar Council Enrolled Advocate.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Restaurant
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in legal practice.
- Experience in corporate, commercial and litigation matters will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling legal matters of restaurants, hotels, retail businesses or corporate organizations will be highly preferred.
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh laws, court procedures and commercial/legal documentation.
- Excellent legal drafting, communication, negotiation and case-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Management, government authorities, courts and external legal professionals.
