Job Description / Responsibility

Patient and visitor management
Greeting: Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Direction: Guide people to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the correct staff members.
Support: Provide assistance to patients and their families during their visit.
Administrative and clerical duties
Registration: Register new patients and update existing patient information.
Documentation: Verify identification and insurance information, and ensure all necessary forms are completed and filed.
Record-keeping: Maintain and update patient records, both electronic and paper-based.
Administrative tasks: Perform various clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
Appointment and scheduling
Scheduling: Schedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments.
Coordination: Coordinate with medical staff to manage appointment flow and notify providers of patient arrivals.
Follow-ups: Assist with scheduling follow-up visits and other medical tests.
Financial responsibilities
Payments: Process patient payments, including co-pays and other charges.
Billing: Handle billing inquiries and assist with the processing of insurance claims.
Verification: Verify patient insurance information to ensure coverage is accurate.
Facility and environment
Reception area: Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Supplies: Maintain and manage office supplies, reordering as needed
