Job Description / Responsibility
- IIDFC Capital Limited (ICL), a subsidiary of IIDFC PLC., is one of the leading merchant bankers in Bangladesh, licensed under Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
- ICL is looking for a dynamic and talented IT professional who shall be responsible for the development and maintenance of the applications running in ICL. The primary focus shall be on the development/customization of web applications and integrating them with our core systems/backend. Since the aspirant shall be working alongside other developers, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products are essential for the desired role.
- Responsibility / Skill Requirement
- Lead and supervise the Accounts & Finance function of IIDFC Capital Limited.
- Maintain proper books of accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial and regulatory reports to the relevant authorities.
- Coordinate the annual statutory audit and other regulatory/internal audits and inspections.
- Manage budgeting, budgetary control, cash flow and financial planning of the Company.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax, VAT and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with IIDFC PLC on financial reporting, consolidation and other accounts-related matters as required.
- Maintain liaison with banks, auditors, tax consultants, regulators and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure proper internal control over financial transactions and safeguard the financial assets and records of the Company.
- Perform any other Accounts & Finance related responsibilities assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline from a reputed university.
Additional Job Requirements
- CGPA requirement : 3.00 or above Required Professional Qualification : Partial/Full Course completed in CA/CMA/ACCA
- Relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a bank, NBFI, merchant bank, brokerage house, asset management company or other financial institution.
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, taxation, VAT, budgeting and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with the regulatory requirements applicable to capital market intermediaries will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills with high professional integrity.
