Assistant Manager - Sales

Job Description / Responsibility

Promote and sell hotel room bookings, tour packages and education consultancy services.
Manage both indoor and outdoor sales activities.
Communicate with potential customers through phone calls, WhatsApp, social media and face-to-face meetings.
Visit corporate offices, educational institutions and potential business partners to generate sales opportunities.
Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings or admissions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients.
Prepare quotations, proposals and customized packages according to client requirements.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Coordinate with hotels, tour operators, educational institutions and internal departments.
Maintain customer records and submit regular sales reports to management.
Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the company’s business growth.
Ensure professional customer service and complete after-sales support.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism or any related field.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, Travel Agency, Tour Operator, Immigration/Visa Processing, Transport Service, Travel Startup, Transport Startup

Additional Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales, hospitality, tourism, hotel booking, travel services or education consultancy.
Strong communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
Must be confident in both indoor and outdoor sales.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
Basic knowledge of computers, email, Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
Must be responsible, energetic, target-oriented and self-motivated.
