Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Masnoon Life Limited is a trusted Ruqyah and Islamic wellness center dedicated to providing professional Ruqyah services, Islamic healthcare support, and quality customer service. We are looking for a sincere, competent, and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company`s financial operations and ensure accurate accounting records and regulatory compliance.
- Job Location: Noor Tower, Flat-8C, House 29/31, Road-1, Block-D, Sector-2, Aftabnagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Job Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records, including cash book, bank book, and general ledger.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, journal vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Record and verify all income and expenditure transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
- Process supplier payments and maintain payable and receivable records.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement.
- Maintain inventory and fixed asset records.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other statutory requirements of Bangladesh.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure confidentiality.
- Support management with budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis.
- Perform any other accounts or administrative duties assigned by the management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, Finance
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Finance
- Bachelor`s degree (BBA/B.Com) or Master`s degree (MBA/M.Com) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
- Age: 25-40 years (Flexible for highly qualified candidates).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of VAT, Tax, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Honest, trustworthy, disciplined, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to organizational growth.
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of practical experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Experience in a healthcare, service-oriented, or Islamic organization will be given preference.
