Job Description / Responsibility

Conduct regular and surprise inventory audits of raw materials, WIP, finished goods and spare parts.
Verify physical stock against ERP/system records and books and identify stock variances.
Audit Cash, Bank, Purchase, Sales, Payment, Receipt and Journal Vouchers with proper supporting documents.
Check invoices, bills, PO, GRN, challan, requisition, approval and other relevant documents.
Verify purchase quantity, rate, vendor invoice and approved Purchase Order.
Review material receiving, issue, transfer, return and consumption transactions.
Verify production input, output, material consumption and wastage.
Analyze actual consumption versus standard consumption and identify unusual variances.
Check ERP entries, ledger postings, journal entries and account heads for accuracy.
Identify duplicate, unsupported, unauthorized or irregular transactions.
Perform reconciliation between physical stock, ERP stock and accounting records.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, damaged and obsolete inventory.
Evaluate compliance with company policies, SOPs and internal control procedures.
Identify control weaknesses, financial risks, errors and potential fraud.
Prepare Audit Observation Reports with findings, risks and recommendations.
Follow up on previous audit observations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Prepare regular audit reports and present significant findings to CFO.
Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Store and Production departments during audit activities.

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Candidates with CA (CC), CMA or professional accounting qualifications will get preference.

Experience Requirements

2 to 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Battery, Storage cell
