Job Description / Responsibility

We are a well-established and reputed complete logistics provider in Bangladesh, looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented professional to join our team as a Dy. General Manager
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing overall transport operations, Cargo management, business development, customer relationships, cost control, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise day-to-day Cargo movement from factory to port.
Solid experience in cargo consolidation and ensuring timely delivery of shipments from port to factory and vice versa.
Oversee and lead the team for cargo pick up and deliver and vehicle utilization.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Manage key customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Monitor operational costs and ensure effective budget control.
Lead, motivate, and develop the operations and support teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations specially vehicle documents as per the BRTA law/regulations.
Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to the Management.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
Proven experience in a senior position (not less Manager) in a large and reputed courier or transport company will be given preference.

Educational Requirements

Master degree (Bachelor degree may consider based the practical experience).

Experience Requirements

8 to 12 years

Additional Job Requirements

8-12 years of solid experience in relevant field, preferably in managerial position in transport, logistics & fleet management.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
