Job Description / Responsibility

Satkhira Unnayan Sangstha (SUS), MRA License No.: 00895-00696-00225, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer under the project “Adapting to Climate Change and Ensuring Food Security”, funded by Stromme Foundation (SF), Norway. The project focuses on climate-smart agriculture, climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental sustainability, and resilient livelihood practices.
Project Duration: January 2024 – December 2028
Duty Station: Assasuni and Kaliganj Upazilas, Satkhira
Key Responsibilities
Regularly collect and monitor project data against defined performance indicators.
Ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of project data in coordination with partners.
Maintain and administer the M&E database, including data analysis and aggregation of findings.
Support preparation of project progress reports, including collection and documentation of case studies.
Provide support for the project mid-term review and final evaluation.
Prepare project publications and annual, six-monthly, quarterly and other M&E-related reports.
Collect, verify and maintain data in Kobo tools, GPS locations, and Desalination plant.
Case study writing and documentation preparation and preservation & Team management skills

Educational Requirements

Masters
Minimum Master’s degree in Social Science, Statistics or any relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, Micro-Credit, NGO

Additional Job Requirements

Age At most 45 years
At least 2 years of relevant experience in Monitoring & Evaluation under donor-funded projects.
Demonstrated ability to prepare project progress reports in accordance with the M&E Plan.
Good command of English, particularly in communication and report writing skills.
Good computer literacy in both Bangla and English, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet browsing.
