Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (Seed Potato Production Project)

Job Description / Responsibility

Plan and execute seed potato production activities as per company requirements.
Selection of land and contract growers for seed potato production.
Selection of won seed production by lease land selection and procurement on rent .
Total budgeting for the project and get approval.
Production supervision and quality monitoring up to harvesting, storing and dispatching to the sales department through proper grading and bagging .
Making close liaison with the controlling authority.
Abide all the rules and regulations set by the company.
Be prompt responsive both verbally and written against the instructions given by the authority .
Be smart and hardworking for the project implementation.
Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Word, excel and power point presentation.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany
Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany
BScAg (Hons) with MS in Agronomy/ Horticulture/Crop Botany is preferable.

Experience Requirements

5 to 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Healthcare Startup, IT Enabled Service, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 40 years
Only Male
Proven track record and strong leadership skills are required to manage a large seed production team, along with hands-on experience in seed potato production.
