Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Permanent in nature, both office and field based
- Job Responsibilities
- Prepare an audit plan in advance to ensure that audits are conducted effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with the applicable audit scope and requirements.
- Review and follow the latest approved audit procedures, audit protocols, checklists, audit manuals, client requirements, and applicable standards before and during each audit.
- Conduct social compliance audits in accordance with the applicable audit methodology, client requirements, relevant laws and regulations, and professional auditing principles.
- Collect, verify, and evaluate objective evidence through document review, management and worker interviews, workplace observations, and other appropriate audit techniques.
- Identify and accurately document non-conformities, observations, and areas of concern based on objective evidence and applicable requirements.
- Prepare complete, accurate, clear, and high-quality audit reports and submit the full report package to the designated report reviewer within the required timeframe.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and integrity of audit activities and audit reports.
- Keep updated on changes in applicable laws, regulations, customer requirements, audit protocols, and industry practices, and ensure such updates are appropriately incorporated into audit activities.
- Maintain professional independence, impartiality, confidentiality, and ethical conduct throughout the audit process.
- Communicate effectively with clients, factory management, workers, and other relevant stakeholders while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
- Demonstrate willingness to support and participate in the implementation of new audit programs, methodologies, and industry initiatives as required by clients, the organization, or emerging industry needs.
- Where assigned as a Lead/Senior Auditor, coordinate and manage the audit team to ensure effective audit execution, timely completion of assignments, and delivery of quality services in accordance with client expectations.
- Support the development and mentoring of junior auditors through coaching, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job guidance.
- Maintain and continuously develop professional knowledge and competence in social compliance standards, applicable legislation, auditing techniques, and emerging sustainability and responsible business practices.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor degree in any discipline but Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Environmental Science/Textile Engineering will get preference
- Training/ Trade Course: Any qualification such as qualified ISO auditor, Higg, ZDHC, BEPI, SLCP, amfori BSCI, WRAP qualification will get preference but CSCA is mandatory.

- 3rd party auditing experience.
