Assistant Manager, Plant Engineering

Job Description / Responsibility

Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Maintain utility systems such as boiler, generator, compressor and electrical systems.
Monitor machine performance and minimize breakdown and downtime.
Maintain maintenance records and spare-parts requirements.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company standards.
Support production to achieve efficiency and production targets.

Educational Requirements

Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience Requirements

6 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Animal/Plant Breeding
