Job Description / Responsibility
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings for project execution.
- Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and the internal design team for smooth project implementation.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and material requirement plans.
- Source construction materials, obtain quotations, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor material consumption and prepare measurement sheets, work progress reports, and material reconciliation statements.
- Manage and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations and construction standards.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays, and recommend practical solutions.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality standards.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology students will get preference.
Experience Requirements
- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Engineering Firms, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 28 to 48 years
- Only Male
- Strong knowledge of architectural and construction drawings.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and measurement works.
- Sound knowledge of material consumption calculation and construction materials.
- Strong project supervision and workforce management capabilities.Good coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
