Job Description / Responsibility
- Handle assigned Denim and Woven garment orders from order confirmation to shipment.
- Communicate and coordinate with buyers/buying houses regarding order requirements, specifications and approvals.
- Review buyer tech packs, measurement charts, artwork, BOM, construction details and other order documents.
- Follow up on sample development including Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP and Shipment samples.
- Coordinate fabric, trims and accessories development and approval.
- Prepare and maintain T&A (Time and Action) plans and ensure timely execution of all order milestones.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, IE, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing and Quality departments.
- Follow up on fabric booking, accessories availability and production readiness.
- Monitor production status against shipment schedules and immediately highlight potential delays.
- Ensure buyer comments and approvals are properly communicated to all concerned departments.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure buyer quality requirements are maintained.
- Follow up on washing, dyeing, printing, embroidery and other value-added processes where applicable.
- Check and follow up on production-related issues, shortages, quality problems and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Commercial/Shipping team for shipment documentation and on-time shipment.
- Maintain order-wise records, correspondence, approvals and shipment status.
- Prepare regular order status reports for management.
- Handle buyer queries and provide timely updates regarding order progress.
- Ensure all orders are executed within agreed cost, quality and delivery requirements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Woven Manufacturing
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 26 years
- Strong knowledge of Denim and Woven garment manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, washing, dyeing, finishing and garment construction.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent follow-up and coordination capability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong buyer and supplier communication skills.
