Job Description / Responsibility

Lead end-to-end SCM operations for CKD/SKD manufacturing, including planning, procurement, supplier management, import, inventory, and logistics.
Develop material and procurement plans based on production forecast, BOM, inventory, and business requirements.
Lead CKD/SKD kit planning and ensure timely supply of components to meet production targets.
Manage strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, supplier development, localization, and alternate sourcing.
Drive inventory optimization and reduction of excess, slow-moving, and non-moving materials.
Lead import and logistics planning, including Incoterms, shipment planning, HS Code, customs, and landed cost optimization.
Monitor supplier performance, material shortages, lead times, quality issues, and supply chain risks.
Lead cross-functional coordination with Production, Planning, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Warehouse.
Establish and monitor SCM KPIs including material availability, inventory days, supplier OTD, shortage rate, lead time, and cost savings.
Lead S&OP, SCM digitalization, process improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Develop and lead the SCM team to achieve production continuity, cost efficiency, and working capital targets.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production
Certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM) will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

8 to 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Manufacturing (FMCG)

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 30 years
Experience in managerial post will added advantage.
