Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context: We are a leading manufacturing company actively involved in different kinds of basic chemical, auxiliary chemical, Petro chemical, and FMCG industry. We’re currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our Operation (Power Plant) Department.
Start, operate, and stop generators to distribute power to the PMCC as per SOP and company rules.
Monitor all operating parameters through SCADA and ensure smooth plant operation.
Perform routine checks as per the operation checklist and take necessary actions such as topping up oil and water with the operator.
Collect lube oil and water samples with the operator or supervisor for testing and analysis.
Record gas and energy meter readings accurately and prepare detailed shift reports for proper handover to the next shift.
Maintain records of faults, spare parts usage, liquid consumption, and generator maintenance activities in the designated registers.
Operate the chiller unit when necessary and prepare monthly operation reports in the specified format for submission to management.
Prepare and submit daily and monthly operation reports in the prescribed format for submission to management.
Communicate effectively with the Department Head and relevant stakeholders regarding any plant-related issues or abnormalities.

Educational Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical
Diploma in Power
Diploma in Electrical
Diploma in Marine Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 18 years
Only Male
Candidates must have at least three (03) years of experience in power plant operations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in generator or engine maintenance.
Must have the physical and mental fitness to perform rotational shift duties (Morning, Evening, and Night).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
