AGM/GM - Laundry / Washing Operations

Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for dynamic, experienced and result-oriented professionals to lead our Laundry/Washing Operations across our manufacturing locations.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall Laundry/Washing Operations, including both Wet and Dry Processes, ensuring required quality and productivity standards.
- Be capable of managing operations in both Day and Night Shifts, with shift rotation every week.
- Ensure effective utilization of Man, Machine and Material (3M) to achieve production targets, quality standards and on-time delivery.
- Ensure effective implementation and compliance with SOPs at every stage of production.
- Drive wastage reduction, cost optimization and operational efficiency across laundry operations.
- Ensure achievement of shift-wise production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
- Ensure smooth and effective handover between shifts.
- Maintain strong coordination and rapport with key stakeholders including Buyers, Garment Units, Merchandising and other relevant teams.
- Ensure a disciplined, productive and healthy working environment, particularly during Night Shift Operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in Laundry Operations, including process optimization and productivity enhancement.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Chemistry
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Textile, Washing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 55 years
- Experience: Candidates must have substantial experience working with reputed brands and renowned laundry/washing facilities: (a) AGM: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, (b) DGM: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, (c)GM: Minimum 17 years of relevant experience.
- The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge and practical expertise in: Laundry/Washing Operations – Wet & Dry Process, Laundry Quality Management, IE & Production Planning related to Laundry Operations, R&D – Denim & Dyeing Programs, Fabrics and Garment Processing, Garment Testing, Chemical Application and Process Control, Production Planning & Capacity Management, Cost Reduction
- Willingness to work in rotating Day/Night shifts
