Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Sales (Building Renovation)

Job Description / Responsibility
- Responsible for driving sales growth for BTI’s Building Renovation Services across BTI’s own/handed-over projects and external/non-BTI properties through business development, client acquisition, team supervision, and conversion of sales opportunities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to achieve assigned revenue and business growth targets.
- Generate renovation and refurbishment business from BTI projects as well as external residential, commercial, corporate, and institutional properties.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, buildings, communities, and high-potential business opportunities.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects from lead generation through successful closure.
- Engage key decision-makers, property owners, resident communities, corporate representatives, developers, and facility/property managers.
- Lead major and high-value sales opportunities, including client meetings, site visits, proposals, negotiations, and closure.
- Build strong client relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
- Understand and document renovation requirements, project scope, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with Technical, Design, Commercial, Operations, and relevant teams for assessment, BOQ, costing, feasibility, and proposal preparation.
- Review and present commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy, appropriate margins, and alignment with company policies.
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved parameters and ensure timely closure.
- Monitor team members’ sales activities, pipeline, conversion, and target achievement.
- Coach team members on prospecting, client communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure proper handover of confirmed projects to the execution team with clearly documented client commitments and scope.
- Prepare and submit regular sales performance, pipeline, forecast, and business development reports to management.
- Maintain professional conduct, sales discipline, documentation standards, and compliance with BTI policies.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Architecture Firm, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 27 years
- Only Male
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in sales/business development.
- Experience in building renovation, construction, real estate, interior fit-out, property/facility management, building materials, maintenance, or related services will be preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Team supervision experience will be preferred.
