Job Description / Responsibility

1. Strategic Finance & Fund Arrangement
Plan, manage, and optimize daily cash flows, working capital, and operational treasury function.
Negotiate and build strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for credit lines, short-term/long-term loans, L/C opening, and fund arrangements at competitive interest rates.
Prepare dynamic financial models, feasibility reports, fund projections, and quarterly/annual budgets.
2. VAT, Tax & Regulatory Compliance (Pro-Level)
Direct and oversee complete NBR statutory compliance including monthly VAT return preparation & filing (Mushak 9.1), VDS/TDS management, and tax deduction certificates.
Coordinate corporate income tax assessment, handle audit queries from NBR/VAT authorities, and manage legal tax disputes or appeals effectively.
Ensure strict adherence to the Income Tax Act, VAT & SD Act, Companies Act, and updated government rules/surcharges.
3. Financial Accounting & Management Reporting
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts in accordance with IFRS/IAS.
Prepare and present accurate Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement) to top management.
Oversee accounts payable, receivables, general ledger, payroll processing, and inventory accounting across factory/depot units.
4. Internal Control, Audit & Risk Management
Facilitate internal and external statutory financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
Establish robust internal control mechanisms to prevent leakage, waste, or financial non-compliance.

Educational Requirements

Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Finance
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (CA Partly Qualified will be preferable).

Experience Requirements

At least 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Manufacturing (FMCG)
