Job Description / Responsibility

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory and Accounts Specialist to oversee our day-to-day financial transactions and inventory management. You will be responsible for ensuring that physical stock matches our system records, managing vendor invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining accurate financial ledgers.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Monitor, record, and reconcile daily stock movements (incoming shipments, sales, returns, and damages).
Conduct regular physical stock counts and audit inventory balances against the system.
Identify discrepancies, investigate shortages, and implement shrinkage control measures.
Coordinate with operations/showroom teams to ensure smooth stock allocation.
Accounting & Financials:
Maintain accurate daily books of accounts (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow).
Process vendor bills, verify purchase orders, and track payments.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and sales channel reports.
Prepare basic monthly financial summaries, including cost of goods sold (COGS) and profit margins.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Online Retail Startup

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 30 years
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing inventory accounting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and POS/Inventory systems.
Advanced Excel/Data skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic SQL knowledge is a major plus for querying sales data).
Attributes: Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and sharp attention to detail.
