Job Description / Responsibility
- Our company is a cyber security company committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to protect our clients from evolving cyber threats. As we expand our operations, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to join our executive team. In this role, you will lead our cyber security engineering team which is committed to protecting the IT infrastructure of our clients.
- Responsibilities:
- Be the leader of a highly motivated team of SOC analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and implement SOC policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead the team in analyzing security alerts and incidents, prioritizing and escalating threats as needed.
- Oversee the investigation and remediation of security incidents, adhering to established protocols.
- Manage and maintain SOC technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Continuously improve SOC processes and procedures, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements.
- Design, implement, and manage advanced security controls and architectures.
- Lead analysis of security incidents and implement effective incident response strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats and trends.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Masters in Computer Application (MCA)
- Master of Information & Communication Technology (MICT)
- Masters in Information Systems Security (MISS)
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Software Company
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 29 years
- 10+ years of experience in a senior cyber security role.
- Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center.
- Proven experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a talented team independently with minimum guidance from top management.
- Industry-recognized security certification will be preferred (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc.).
