Job Description / Responsibility

- Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment/correction, shipment, negotiation, payment realization, release etc.) through overseas phone and e-mail.
- Maintaining proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping line, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, Customs & VAT department, etc.
- Follow up of Import L/C and ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs and save additional cost.
- Communicate with confirming bank for add confirmation of Import LC at a competitive price.
- Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import activities and inform management as required.
- Identify suitable suppliers and negotiate for the best value without compromising the quality & specifications.
- Develop alternative sources of supply in both local and foreign markets & maintain a smart suppliers database.
- To coordinate with the Accounts & Finance department regularly for shipment schedule and fund management activities.
- Communicate with the factory for materials status and other factors regularly.
- Regularly monitor supplier’s performance & build up best business relationships with preferred suppliers.
- Any other job assign time to time by the management
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- MBA, Master`s degree, or professional qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, International Trade, or Logistics will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Medical Equipment
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 28 to 40 years
- Only Male
- Only males are allowed to apply.
- Candidate must know about Commercial Import of Medical Equipment or pharmaceutical Industries or Electrical & Electronics Industries.
- Adequate knowledge about H.S. Code, L/C Clauses, Customs, Custom Audit, Bill of Lading and other shipping documents, Certificate of Origin and undertaking, Vessel Schedule, Invoice, packing list, UP, UD, GSP & other delegates etc.
- Must be updated on the latest Customs and International Trade Laws are essential to be proficient in this position.
- Should have good analytical ability and high-level professional integrity.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Trading or Export/Import.
