Job Description / Responsibility
- Monitor, supervise, and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion within approved quality standards and budget.
- Lead, guide, mentor, and evaluate Project Engineers and site teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Prepare master work program, project execution plans, monitor work schedules, and ensure compliance with approved timelines.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, company standards, and applicable building codes.
- Coordinate effectively with Architecture, SCM, BOQ, QA/QC, Finance, Sales, CSD and other relevant departments for smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular project visits to monitor work progress, quality, safety, manpower utilization, and resource management.
- Identify project risks, analyze technical and operational issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.
- Review project progress reports and submit periodic updates to management with recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and project resources.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure contractual compliance and quality performance.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Resolve technical, operational, and administrative issues promptly to minimize project delays.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Educational Requirements
- BSc in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.
- Candidates having professional certifications in Project Management or Construction Management will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
- At least 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 36 to 45 years
- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, quality assurance, safety management, and contract administration.
- Must have extensive working experience in renowned real estate companies in Bangladesh.
- Practical experience in managing multiple high-rise residential and commercial building projects is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of BNBC, RAJUK regulations, and construction safety practices.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong managerial, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of delivering results within deadlines.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and project management software will be an added advantage.
