Job Description / Responsibility

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment throughout the plastics manufacturing facility.
Service and repair injection molding machines, extruders, and other production equipment, including motors, drives, heaters, and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose and resolve faults.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical components to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions.
Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, and automated control systems used in production lines.
Inspect and test electrical systems and components using multimeters, meggers, and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper operation.
Wire and connect single-phase and three-phase motors, control panels, transformers, and distribution equipment.
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies to restore production as quickly and safely as possible.
Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and inspections.
Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to electrical systems and equipment for better efficiency and reliability.
Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Maintain an inventory of electrical parts, tools, and supplies, and request replacements as needed.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to support overall plant operations.

Diploma in Electrical
Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
