Job Description / Responsibility

Strong legal expertise in corporate, financial, regulatory, property, and land-related laws of Bangladesh, particularly in Credit Union operations and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to protect the organization’s legal interests and ensure full regulatory compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulatory guidelines.
Skilled in litigation management, including handling court cases, cheque dishonored cases, coordinating with external lawyers, and taking necessary legal actions.
Expertise in property documentation, including verification of mortgaged land documents, handling land registration processes, and ensuring legal due diligence.
Experienced in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements, contracts, MoUs, affidavits, legal notices, and other legal documents, including Power of Attorney deeds.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex legal issues and provide practical and effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English, with strong legal drafting proficiency.
Capable of providing legal advisory services to management and the Board, including risk assessment and mitigation support.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professional ethics in handling sensitive organizational matters.
Strong documentation and reporting skills with the ability to maintain accurate legal records and ensure compliance documentation.

Educational Requirements

Master of Law (LLM)
Bachelor of Law (LLB)
Must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bangladesh Bar Council.

Experience Requirements

5 to 10 years

Additional Job Requirements

Age 35 to 50 years
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple legal tasks simultaneously.
