Job Description / Responsibility
  • A Leading Agro-Based Multinational Company is Seeking a National Sales Manager (NSM)
  • Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead and manage nationwide sales operations through Regional Managers, Zonal Managers, and field sales teams.
  • Prepare annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and business development strategies.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets.
  • Strengthen and expand the distributor, dealer, and retailer network across the country.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and Finance teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Drive product positioning, promotional activities, dealer development programs, and farmers' engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor credit management and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Develop and implement sales KPIs and performance management systems.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Submit regular business performance reports and strategic recommendations to management.

Educational Requirements
  • M.Sc.; B.Sc. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline.
  • MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or Management from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 15 years

Additional Job Requirements
  • Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the Agrochemical, Seed, Fertilizer, or Agricultural Input industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role such as Regional Head, AGM Sales, DGM Sales, Head of Sales, or National Sales Manager.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant sales growth and leading large sales teams nationwide.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Sound understanding of agrochemical markets, distribution systems, and customer dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and sales reporting systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh.
