Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Overview:
- The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring all factory machines and equipment are operating efficiently with minimum downtime. The role will lead the maintenance team and oversee the maintenance of approximately 1,500 machines used in denim, knit, woven, automation, quilting, and pocket setter operations to support smooth production.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all maintenance activities for factory machinery and equipment.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance is carried out on time.
- Reduce machine downtime and improve machine performance.
- Oversee the maintenance of sewing, cutting, finishing, denim, knit, woven, automation, pocket setter and quilting machines.
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated equipment, including pocket setter automation systems, to ensure smooth production.
- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, electricians, and mechanics.
- Ensure utility equipment such as generators, boilers, air compressors, electrical systems, and HVAC are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with the Production team to ensure uninterrupted factory operations.
- Maintain machine maintenance records and prepare regular reports.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers for required parts.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with factory safety and compliance requirements.
- Support the installation, relocation, and commissioning of new machines when required.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or any relevant discipline.
Experience Requirements
- 8 to 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Garments, Textile, Washing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Only Male
- Strong knowledge of garments and textile machinery.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.
